First General Meeting!
When: Thursday, Feb. 3rd at 6:30
Where: 104 Wurster Hall

Welcome back everyone!

BUSSA will be holding our first general meeting of the semester next Thursday. The meeting will start at 6:30, right after ED100.

This meeting will be an informal mixer, a chance to meet fellow Urban Studies majors and City Planning minors, as well as the BUSSA officers. We'll also do a brief run-down of all the activities that we're planning for this semester, so this is your chance to get involved!

Also: those of you that are Urban Studies majors, we will be taking pictures for the undergraduate face board, so remember to look snazy (at least from the head up).

And finally, food! No cheesy sticks this time, but instead we'll have ICE CREAM and homemade BROWNIES from BUSSA co-coordinator Carmen Oleksinski.

Hope to see you there!

(and those of you that e-mailed to be added to the BUSSA e-mail list over winter break, we apologize if we did not get back to you, but you have all been added to our list-serve)

Happy New Year Everyone!

Hope you are all enjoying your winter break. Stay tuned for more information about a possible BUSSA trip to Yosemite later this month.

If any of you are still looking for a class to take this spring, check out:

Architecture 179 - "Historic Preservation"
CCN: 04132
Prof: Helaine Kaplan-Prentice
Time: MW 11:00-12:30pm

This is a brand-spanking-new class, cross listed as a City Planning grad school class (CP290). Still plenty of open spots for undergrads. Looks to be an interesting course. Here's a page offering some information on the professor's work in Oakland:

See ya in a couple weeks!
